Natus Vincere have received an early wakeup call, following a defeat against EGIPTYANE in the first match of the tournament.

Looking at Group A prior to tournament start, the community saw no difficulties in Na´Vi progressing in top spot. Coming from a fresh victory at Arbalet Cup Best of Four and still with the IEM4 victory in their bag, Na´Vi went into the match against EGIPTYAN as big favorites.

Playing de_inferno, possibly one of the strongest maps of Na´Vi, EGIPTYANE went to surprise not just Na´Vi, but also the audience waking up early to watch the game. Finishing their terrorist side, EGIPTYANE noted down a 12-3 lead. The CT pistol-round saw Na´Vi running out of time and not managing to plant, in a 3 versus one situation. EGIPTYAN managed to pick up second round, but then Na´Vi stepped it up a few notches, taking 6 straight rounds. Ninth and tenth rounds were both rounds where Na’Vi saw EGIPTYAN put them to the ground, securing the three points and the victory at 16-9.
